"I want to elevate the cannabis industry by creating beautiful and responsible imagery and educational works."
Danielle moved from Florida to Seattle in March 2014 to begin a career in cannabis. Starting in an entry-level position in a medical grow, she learned the basic technical skills of cannabis cultivation, production, and processing. Over the years her knowledge of the cannabis plant grew and developed, and she began seeking more opportunities to market and sell the products in the new recreational market. She utilized many years of customer service skills and newly acquired cannabis knowledge to advance from Budtender to Shift Manager at a retail cannabis shop, eventually becoming their Marketing Director. This led to a professional role in Social Media Management with Grassworks Digital. Since then, she has been a Sales Representative for flower, concentrate, and topical brands such as Gold Leaf Gardens, Heylo Cannabis Extracts, and Burnwell. In addition to her freelance work, she contributes to the Northwest Leaf where she photographs and review products, profiles farms and brands, and interviews women in the cannabis industry for her monthly column called Women in Weed. Currently, she resides in Long Beach, California, but frequently travels the west coast for journalism and photography opportunities.
